MAC lipstick review - A Nouvel Romance, Creme Cup, Myth

Hello dolls,

We hear about MAC lipsticks all the time and everywhere. And naturally most of us are tempted to try them out. And I am not an exclusion. #guilty

I am going to be real here and say that MAC lipsticks, as well as other MAC products, are not the most affordable out there.

Nevertheless, since I love me some good lipstick I decided to go for it and give it a try.

So far I have tested three different shades and I am including the swatches just to give you an idea of the pigmentation power of MAC lipsticks:

The pigmentation is amazing indeed! I love the texture - very creamy. The packaging is nice. The scent is really really nice - a hint of sweetness.

MYTH: In all honestly I personally am not a fan of this particular shade just because it is too pale for me. Other than than the texture is nice. It is a satin finish. Not drying at all. I still use it sometimes with a lipliner one shade darker than the lipstick for a gradual pauty lip or to lighten up the darker lipsticks that i have.

Creme Cup: This shade is my all time favourite. I have repurchased it twice already because I am using it a ton. It is a cremesheen finish. Glides on lips perfectly smooth. Great pigmentation! Very wearable colour for everyday, whether you wear it to the office, for a lunch, anywhere really. Cream Cup shade is very natural; it is a "your lips but better" shade. Highly recommended. Especially if you are thinking of buying your first MAC lipstick and don't know which one to choose.

A Nouvel Romance: You know I love me my pink and this shade is a perfect summer pink. Whether you are going to the beach/pool party or heading to Coachella or any other music festival, A Nouvel Romance will get all attention on you. It is a cremesheen finish. Looks best on slightly tanned skin. The texture and colour payoff is great as always.

Honestly, I haven't found any cons with MAC lipsticks. The only difficulty you might have is choosing the right shade for you out of the huge amount of shades available.
The price is quite high. But the quality is equally high.

Hope this review was helpful to some of you.

Kisses,

Ria
