Meet me in Switzerland!
Proper blogging really takes a lot of time and i do realize this is not a proper one, but bear with me I came here to work primarily. However, I do love to share my experience with you so i am super excited to show you what i have been up to during this past week.
So I am still in Vevey. I have only changed the hotel where i am staying and i like this one better (my previous one was a little bit too far from everything). This one, however, is in the very center of the town which is super convenient. The hotel is called Hostellerie de Geneve and i will definitely have a review on it very soon. I know i promise a lot of reviews - they will all come.
The weather has been treating us here really. I has been so warm and i even got a little bit of tan which is super nice. It it amazing to have a lake here. A lot of people hang out along the lake, some have already been swimming.
I really enjoyed the long weekend we had last week (long bcuz we had 3 days off in a row which hasnt been happening very often to me). On Sat i went to the wine tasting even at Cully (a small cute village with a lot of vineyards) with some really cool peeps and i had a great time. After the wine tasting we went to have some food and more wine and we ended up chatting almost till midnight. I ended up returning to the hotel very late, but it was worth it.
My Sun and Mon were the beach days: I literally took my hot pink towel, put on my bikini and i was relaxing and getting some tan near the lake while reading a book which i should have finished long time ago already, but oh well... Spending time like this really feels like a little vacation.
So during weekdays there was not much i have been up to, apart from working really. After work, tho, i would sometimes go for a drink with colleagues. A lot of people prefer wine here, which is really good in fact and the vineyards are literally everywhere so you can enjoy some local wine.
And as of yesterday the world cup has started so guess what - everybody's talking about football. In Vevey they have installed a big screen where you can go and enjoy the games with friends etc. I know i am not allowed to say this, especially during this time but honestly i am not much into football so i skipped the big opening and everything really. Forgive me please if you are a fan. :)
So this is probably it for my rumbling. I am posting some pictures i took during this past week with little captions. Hope you enjoy it and let me know how you spent your week.
After the wine tasting in Cully we poped into a Thai food restaurant and y'all know how i love asian food. It was really good.
